David Mattingly was granted an unrestricted look at the letters and cards sent to Zimmerman after his attorneys opened a fund-raising site online, a CNN spokesman said.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of Trayvon Martin. The trial is scheduled to start in June. Tuesday is the first anniversary of Martin’s death in Sanford.
In related programming, Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, talk to CNN’s Piers Morgan at 9 p.m. Monday. CNN billed the chat as “an exclusive joint television interview.” Benjamin Crump, the parents’ attorney, will join them.
